25 Songs for 25 Lines . . . Ad Reinhardt’s wonderful lines on art inspire a dance work in Austria. On a Baroque monastery staircase in the darkness Eva and I dance with 10 metre pendulums lights swinging over the steps.
In China a solo work, I dance with 12 pendulums the lights reflective mark follows the undulations in an old shoe factory gallery floor.

The movements are doing and undoing in the manner of Reinhardt’s paradoxical lines- brush work brushing out brushwork- or the fold of Deleuzian movement, the crease in the excess-the line, like the word re-navigated drawn out differently. Difference and repetition. Collaboration, reprograming, renewal.
